Langwedel is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The area is primarily characterized by agricultural land, with forests and small lakes scattered throughout. The surrounding scenery features vast green fields, rolling hills and picturesque farmhouses. The landscape is dotted with small villages, tall wind turbines and wind farms. The Kiel Canal, which connects the North Sea with the Baltic Sea, is also within close proximity to Langwedel. Overall, the area around Langwedel is a peaceful and idyllic rural setting.
