Experience this spot in Nea Makri. Great location for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, supping, wind surfing, body surfing, body boarding and kiteboarding. Nea Makri is a suburban town located on the eastern coast of Attica, Greece. The area surrounding Nea Makri features a mixture of pine forests, sandy beaches, and rocky terrain. The town is situated near the foothills of Mount Penteli, which offers a scenic backdrop to the region. Some popular landmarks and attractions in the area include the Marathon Lake, the Ancient Sanctuary of Artemis, and the Schinias National Park. Within the town of Nea Makri itself, visitors can enjoy a lively beachfront promenade, as well as shops, restaurants, and cafes offering views of the Aegean Sea.
