Karteros is a small village on the island of Crete, located in the Decentralized Administration of Crete. The village is situated near the coast and is known for its long sandy beach. The surrounding area is mostly characterized by hills and small valleys with patches of olive groves and vineyards. The scenery is picturesque with the deep blue sea on one side and the green hills on the other.
