Experience this spot in Larmor-Plage. Great location for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, supping, wind surfing and kiteboarding. Larmor-Plage is located in the Morbihan department of Brittany, a region in northwest France that's known for its rugged coastline, historic architecture and picturesque countryside. The town itself is situated on a sandy beach, and has a lively seaside promenade with restaurants, cafes, and shops. To the north of Larmor-Plage lies the Golfe du Morbihan, a vast inland sea dotted with dozens of small islands and islets. The area is a popular destination for sailing and boating enthusiasts, as well as hikers and birdwatchers who come to explore the numerous nature reserves and coastal trails. Further inland, the landscape of Morbihan is characterized by rolling hills, fields of wheat and barley, and dense forests of oak and chestnut trees. There are also a number of picturesque villages and towns in the area, each with their own unique charm and architectural style.

Before you go
- Check tide times before entering. Incoming tides can cut off escape routes.

- Cold water shock is real. Enter slowly and control your breathing.
- Always swim with others or tell someone your plan
- A tow float makes you visible to boats and other water users
