Experience this spot in Thors. Great location for swimming and paddling and canoeing. Thors is a small commune located in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. The area around Thors is predominantly rural with picturesque countryside scenery including rolling hills, fields of sunflowers, vineyards and orchards. There are also several small lakes and streams in the area, which offer quiet spots for fishing and picnics. The proximity to the coast means that there are several sandy beaches within a short drive of Thors, and the nearby La Rochelle provides a charming city to explore with its historic port, old town and lively atmosphere.
