Cargèse is a coastal town located in the Corse-du-Sud department of Corse (Corsica), France. It's located at the base of a peninsula splitting into two parts, one of which is characterized by stunning beaches and rocky coastlines. The scenery surrounding Cargèse is breathtaking, with rocky cliffs and crystal clear waters that are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. The town's beaches are among the top attractions, such as Plage Du Pero, Plage D'Arone, and Plage de La Chiuni. Furthermore, several hiking trails lead to the cliffs overlooking the blue Mediterranean. From the mountains, you can easily catch a glimpse of the beautiful white-sand beaches and the rugged coastline of the Gulf of Porto. The area is also covered in lush vegetation, making it a great place to enjoy a scenic picnic or a relaxing walk.
