Experience this spot in Berlin. Great location for kayaking, canoeing and supping. Berlin is located in northeastern Germany and is known for its flat terrain, with much of the city lying on the banks of the River Spree. The surrounding countryside is dotted with lakes and forests, with notable natural areas such as the Grunewald forest to the west of the city. The cityscape itself is dominated by high-rise buildings in the east and a more traditional low-rise architecture in the west, with numerous parks and green spaces throughout the city. The most famous landmarks include the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall, and the Reichstag building. Despite the urban environment, there are many opportunities for outdoor recreation, such as cycling, boating, and swimming in the nearby lakes.
