About

Check out this spot in Vintzi Daskaliou. Great spot for kayaking, canoeing, supping and wind surfing. Vintzi Daskaliou is a small village located in the Decentralized Administration of Attica in Greece. The village is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape with rolling hills, forests, and vineyards. The terrain is rocky, with scattered olive trees and shrubs dotting the landscape. The area is known for its excellent hiking paths, many of which offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. In the distance, the Aegean Sea can be seen from certain vantage points. Despite being relatively rural, the village is located only a short distance from the bustling city of Athens, making it an ideal location for those who wish to live in a peaceful setting while still being near urban amenities.

Plan your swim

Before you go

  • Check tide times before entering. Incoming tides can cut off escape routes.
  • Watch for rip currents, especially near groynes and headlands
  • Cold water shock is real. Enter slowly and control your breathing.
  • Always swim with others or tell someone your plan
  • A tow float makes you visible to boats and other water users

Conditions change fast. Always check the latest data, read recent community reports, and swim within your ability.
