Gronau (Westfalen) is a small town located in the district of Borken in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The town is surrounded by farmland and forests, with the river Dinkel running through it. Münster, on the other hand, is a larger city located about 60 kilometers southeast of Gronau.
