Pantano de San Juan is a popular reservoir located in the southwestern area of the Comunidad de Madrid, around 60 kilometers from the city center. The area is characterized by rolling hills and rocky outcrops, and the reservoir itself is surrounded by forests of pine and oak trees. The waters are clear and blue, making it a popular spot for swimming and boating in the summer months.
