Experience this spot in Sainte-Gemme. Great location for cycling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, walking, supping and wind surfing. Sainte-Gemme is a small commune located in the Charente-Maritime department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in southwestern France. The area is known for its rolling hills, fields of sunflowers, and vineyards that produce some of France's best Cognac and Pineau wines. The landscape is dotted with charming traditional stone farmhouses and small, picturesque villages. The nearby coastline offers sandy beaches and rugged cliffs that overlook the expanse of the Bay of Biscay. The area is also home to numerous walking and cycling routes, through forests and along rivers such as the Charente, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
