Explore this spot in Vias. Great spot for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, surfing, supping, wind surfing, body surfing and body boarding. Vias is a picturesque French town located in the Occitanie region, which was previously known as Languedoc-Roussillon. It is situated on the Mediterranean coast, bordered by the Hérault River on one side and the Canal du Midi on the other. The area is dominated by dazzling golden beaches, which stretch for several kilometres, as well as sand dunes and palm trees that sway in the gentle sea breeze. The local area is also characterized by vineyards and olive groves, with plenty of opportunity to explore nearby towns and countryside areas dotted with historic buildings and grand chateaux. The scenery around Vias is nothing short of stunning, from wooded hills and terraces to swathes of coastline that run towards the horizon. All of this makes Vias a popular destination for couples, families, and solo travelers, who come to soak up the sunshine, museums, and incredible scenery that is on offer here, and also enjoy the delicious seafood and wine that the region is famous for.
