Check out this spot in Verdun. Great spot for swimming and paddling, boating, water skiing, wake boarding, kayaking and canoeing. Verdun is a town located in the Meuse department, within the Grand Est region of France. It is situated near the border with Belgium and the town is primarily known for its role in World War I. The area surrounding Verdun is characterized by rolling hills, fields, and forests. The landscape is dotted with small villages and the occasional farm. There are also several rivers in the area, including the Meuse and the Canal de l'Est. Overall, the scenery is peaceful and picturesque, with much of the region remaining rural and untouched by modern development.
