Experience this spot in Stege. Popular location for kayaking, canoeing and supping. Stege is a small town in the region of Zealand, Denmark. It is located on the eastern coast of the island and is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The area surrounding Stege is characterized by rolling hills, farmland, and forests. To the east of the town, there are extensive coastal wetlands, and to the south, there are sandy beaches and shallow bays with clear water. One of the most prominent natural features near Stege is the Stege Nor, a large lagoon that is part of the Baltic Sea. The area is known for its unique flora and fauna, including many species of waterfowl and wading birds. There are also several small islands nearby that can be visited by boat. In addition to the natural scenery, Stege is notable for its charming historic architecture. The town center features many well-preserved buildings from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, including the town hall and several churches.
