Experience this spot in Maardu. Popular location for kayaking, canoeing, sailing, walking, supping and wind surfing. Maardu is a small town located in Harju maakond, which is a county in Estonia. The town is situated just 15 kilometers east of Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia. The surrounding area is characterized by flat landscapes covered with forests, lakes, and wetlands. The scenery is mostly rural, with farmland dominating the immediate surroundings of the town. Maardu is close to several large lakes, including Maardu järv and Ülemiste järv, which offer opportunities for fishing and boating. There are also several nature reserves nearby, with diverse flora and fauna. However, there are some industrial areas within the town which can detract from the natural beauty of the area.
