Explore this spot in Barkelsby. Great location for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and wind surfing. Barkelsby is a small village located in the state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany. The surrounding countryside is characterized by rolling hills, green fields, and woods. The region is known for its agricultural activity and dairy farming. The village is situated on the eastern shore of the fjord-like Eckernförder Bay which offers amazing views of the sea and the coastline. There are a few small fishing villages nearby, and the region is popular for sailing and water sports.
