Experience this spot in Castellane. Great spot for boating, kayaking, canoeing and supping. Castellane is a small town located in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. The town is located in the heart of the Verdon Regional Nature Park and is surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The area is known for its rugged mountains, deep canyons, and turquoise lakes. The Verdon Gorge, which is one of the deepest canyons in Europe, is located just a few kilometers from Castellane and is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, and kayaking. The town itself is located at the confluence of two rivers, the Verdon and the Napoule, and is surrounded by lush green forests and rolling hills. The area is also known for its picturesque medieval villages, such as Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, which is famous for its pottery and sits on a hill overlooking the Verdon Gorge. Overall, the scenery around Castellane is breathtaking, with dramatic landscapes that are perfect for adventure and exploration.
