Plau am See is a small town located in the north-eastern region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The town is located on the banks of the Plauer See, which is the third largest lake in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The area is surrounded by forests, hills, and a number of smaller lakes, creating a picturesque landscape with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, fishing, and water sports.
