Combarro is a small fishing village located in the province of Pontevedra, in the region of Galicia, in northern Spain. The village is situated on the shores of the Ría de Pontevedra, a scenic estuary with numerous inlets and bays. The surrounding scenery is characterized by rolling hills and verdant forests, while the coastline features rugged cliffs and sandy beaches. The quaint cobblestoned streets of Combarro are lined with traditional stone houses, many of which are adorned with brightly painted balconies and intricate Galician crosses. The village is famous for its collection of horreos, traditional raised granaries that were used to store grain and other crops. These unique structures can be seen throughout the village, often situated above the water and supported by stone pillars.
