Getxo is a coastal town in the province of Bizkaia, located in the Basque Country region of Spain. The town is located on the eastern bank of the mouth of the Nervion River, where it meets the Bay of Biscay. The area around Getxo is mostly characterized by rugged cliffs and rocky beaches, with small fishing villages dotted along the coast. The town itself has a mix of historic and modern architecture, with many interesting buildings and monuments to explore. There are also several parks and green spaces in the town, offering lovely views over the surrounding landscape.
