Explore this spot in La Manga. Great location for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, supping and wind surfing. La Manga is a resort town located on the southeastern coast of Spain, in the region of Murcia. The area is known for its stunning beaches, crystal clear waters, and beautiful sunsets. The landscape is characterized by a long, narrow strip of land, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea on both sides. The strip of land is known as La Manga del Mar Menor, and it is about 23 kilometers long. The area is surrounded by marshes, salt flats, and sand dunes, which provide shelter to numerous bird species. There are also several natural parks and protected areas nearby, such as the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar Natural Park, and the Calblanque Natural Park. The region is also renowned for its rich cultural heritage, with numerous historical sites, such as the Castle of Lorca, the Cartagena Roman Theatre, and the Santa Maria Cathedral in Murcia.
