About
Check out this spot in Almería. Great location for flyboarding, swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, supping and wind surfing. Almería is located in the southern region of Andalucía and is known for being one of the sunniest places in Europe. The city itself is situated on the coast and surrounded by hills and mountains. As you move away from the city, the landscape becomes more desert-like with vast stretches of barren land and rocky hills. The area is dotted with small towns and villages that offer a glimpse into rural Spanish life. The coastline is also home to numerous beaches, coves and bays, with crystal-clear waters and stunning rock formations. The scenery around Almería is rugged and starkly beautiful, with contrasts between the deep blue of the sea and the brown and green of the surrounding countryside. The region is also home to several natural parks, such as Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, which boast a diverse range of flora and fauna.

- Cold water shock is real. Enter slowly and control your breathing.
- Always swim with others or tell someone your plan
- A tow float makes you visible to boats and other water users

A tow float for visibility, warm layers for after, and footwear for rocky entries. In colder months, consider a wetsuit, gloves, and a swim cap.
