Explore this spot near Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Great location for scuba diving, surfing, supping, body surfing, body boarding and kiteboarding. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is the capital city of Gran Canaria, one of the seven Canary Islands, located off the coast of West Africa. The city is situated on the northeast side of the island and stretches for almost 20 kilometers along the coastline. The surrounding scenery is characterized by tall cliffs, rugged coastlines, and stunning beaches. In the city itself, visitors can explore the vibrant neighborhoods of Vegueta and Triana, which are home to many colonial-era buildings, pedestrianized streets, and plazas. The city is also known for its lively nightlife, with many bars, clubs, and restaurants dotted throughout the area. Outside of the city, visitors can enjoy Gran Canaria's diverse natural landscapes, including the rugged cliffs of the northern coastline, the rolling hills of the interior, and the sandy beaches that line the island's southern coast. There are also several natural parks and protected areas, such as the Tamadaba Natural Park and the Caldera de Bandama, which offer opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and other outdoor activities.
