Check out this spot in Bad Oldesloe. Great location for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and wind surfing. Bad Oldesloe is a town located in the district of Stormarn in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is situated close to the rivers Trave and Beste which flow through the area. The landscape is characterized by rolling hills, forests, and fields of yellow rapeseed during the springtime. The town also boasts a number of parks and green spaces, including the Kurpark which offers a picturesque setting for visitors to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. The nearby Schaalsee Nature Park is another popular destination for nature lovers, offering hiking and cycling trails, as well as the opportunity to see wildlife such as deer and beavers. Additionally, the historic city of Lubeck, with its world-famous medieval architecture, is only a short distance away from Bad Oldesloe.
