Experience this spot in Pogradec. Great location for swimming and paddling, scuba diving, kayaking, canoeing and wind surfing. Pogradec is a city in the Pogradec District of the Korçë County in southeastern Albania. The area around Pogradec is characterized by the beautiful scenery of Lake Ohrid, which is one of the oldest and deepest lakes in Europe. The lake is surrounded by high mountains, with the Mokra massif to the east and the Galicica Mountains to the west. The rugged mountainous terrain is covered by dense forests of oak, chestnut and beech trees, while the lakeshore is dotted with small fishing villages, sandy beaches and rocky coves. The scenic beauty of the area has long been a draw for tourists, who come to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, the traditional local cuisine and the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the region.
