Write a reviewAbout
A popular swim in the heart of the city. Swim from the Salmon Bothy on Riverside Drive down to the Boathouses in Torry. Best swimming at high tide to ensure the water is deep enough for an uninterrupted swim. After King George VI bridge the depth of the water will be deep and you will be unable to stand. In addition there are limited exit points from the river. The length of the swim is 2k and so need to be a competent swimmer. The river is used by several rowing clubs so please be aware.
