Experience this spot in Neuruppin. Great location for cycling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and supping. Neuruppin is a town in the state of Brandenburg situated around 60 kilometers northwest of Berlin. The scenic area surrounding the town is characterized by the stunningly beautiful Ruppiner See, which is a large lake surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills. The surrounding countryside features expansive farms, meadows, fields, and forests, which offer many opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and picnicking. The town itself is steeped in history, and you can find several stunning architecture and museums, including the Fontane Museum, a homage to the famous German poet, Theodor Fontane, who was born in the area. All in all, the area around Neuruppin is a picturesque and tranquil retreat from the busy city life that offers an excellent opportunity to unwind amidst some of Germany's most beautiful natural scenery.
