Schaprode is a small village located on the northern coast of the island of Rugen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The area is characterized by pristine beaches, dense forests, and rolling hills. The village itself is situated on the western side of a long and narrow strip of land that separates the shallow waters of the Schaproder Bodden lagoon from the Baltic Sea. The scenery around Schaprode is dominated by the stunning natural beauty of the Rugen Biosphere Reserve, which is home to diverse flora and fauna.
