Experience this spot in Ammoudara. Great location for kayaking, canoeing, supping, snorkelling and wind surfing. Ammoudara is a coastal area located in the Decentralized Administration of Crete, Greece. It is situated outside the city of Heraklion and offers a long sandy beach with clear blue waters. The surrounding scenery features lush vegetation, especially in the nearby hills, and in the distance is the imposing mountains of the island. The local area has a laid-back atmosphere, with a few tavernas and beach bars that serve traditional Cretan cuisine and refreshing drinks. The area is perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying water sports activities such as scuba diving, jet skiing or windsurfing.
