About
Wild swimming spot overlooking Guys Cliffe House, located along the River Avon in Saxon Mill fields. There is also a small rope swing attached to a tree.
Location
Getting there
You can park in the layby or at Saxon Mill Pub. You walk to the back of the pub and you will see a bridge over the weir, go over that and follow the cobbled path and over another bridge before getting to the field. You keep to the right and walk along the path in the field and look for the big tree opposite Guys Cliffs Ruins. It is sometimes muddy.
Accessibility
There's steps in to the water and once in about a metre in there a ledge. The swans are friendly please don't shoo or splash them, they won't hurt you. If you swim back toward the pub be mindful as sometimes there are fisherman.
