Check out this spot in Twist. Popular location for swimming and paddling, scuba diving, kayaking, canoeing and supping. As an artificial mountain, Twist doesn't have any natural scenery. However, the surrounding area is characterized by rolling hills, farmland, and forests. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails that crisscross the area, as well as several small villages with quaint churches and historic buildings. The nearby Hasetal nature reserve offers breathtaking views of the river and its surrounding landscape. Additionally, the region is dotted with wind turbines, reflecting the strong focus on renewable energy in this part of Germany.
