You can swim a very long way here, if you want to! Or, it's perfect for Dippers and Jumpers. There's a concrete runway down into the water which makes access simple. It's less suitable for younger ones without a lot of supervision as it gets deep quickly. Flow is usually steady and gentle (less so after rain obvs!). A fantastic venue for sundown swims, spectacular views and often kingfishers and other wildlife.

Getting there
Park in Nearby housing estate, walk across a could of fields - about 10 minutes
Accessibility
Easy enough to get in, concrete ramp. Just watch, it sort of suddenly comes to an end with a step down and there's a big boulder hidden under water you can stub your toe on!
