About
A variety of pools formed in the rocky bed of the river Brittle amid beautiful mountain views. This is a tourist attraction, but also a popular spot for dipping.
Location
Getting there
Car park off the B8009 but expensive (£8 for cars, £10 for motor homes as at May 2025). A good gravel path is provided to the pools but still uneven and steep in places.
Accessibility
When leaving the path to access the water the ground is a mix of rock, gravel, and pebbles. Some pools are too deep to touch the bottom so make sure you know how you will get out again.
