About

Felixstowe is a resort town but is also home to the country's largest container port on the Orwell Estuary. Felixstowe South is a sand and shingle beach gently sloping to the sea in a sheltered bay. There is sand at low tide. The beach is backed by a promenade and gardens.

There are multiple carparks with disabled spaces. A beach wheelchair is available for hire from the leisure centre. There are several ramps onto the beach along the promenade and disabled toilets. There is a changing spaces in the town centre but to access you need to call the local council for the code. There are benches frequently along the promenade.
