Kalundborg is a town in the Kalundborg Municipality in the Region Zealand of Denmark. The town is situated on the northwestern coast of Zealand, surrounded by water on three sides. The surrounding countryside is characterized by rolling hills, farmland, and stretches of forest. The coastline is dotted with small harbors and picturesque fishing villages, and there are several sandy beaches in the area. Kalundborg itself is a charming historic town, with winding cobblestone streets and colorful half-timbered houses. The town center is dominated by the striking Kalundborg Church, which dates back to the 12th century.
