About

Plung pool at small waterfall, just off the forest road. It’s about 1.5m deep with large smooth boulders in the bottom. Shallower pools further down. Suitable for older kids.

Location

Getting there

The spot is accessed via the Kielder Forest Drive. This can be started from the North via the A68, or the South from Kielder Castle. Cost to drive the road is £5. There are parking lay-bys either side off the spot

Accessibility

Hop over the stock fence and down a steepish slope through long grass and ferns. It’s about 20m from the road.
