Explore this spot near Dettenheim. Popular location for swimming and paddling, scuba diving, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, supping, wind surfing, body surfing and body boarding. Dettenheim is a small town located in the state of Baden-Württemberg, close to the border of Rhineland-Palatinate. The surrounding area is characterized by lush green fields, forests, and rolling hills, with several small villages and towns scattered throughout. The Rhine River is located to the west of Dettenheim and the Black Forest is to the east. The landscape is dotted with traditional farmhouses and charming churches, as well as numerous hiking and biking trails. Karlsruhe, a larger city known for its beautiful palace and park, is located about 20 kilometers to the north of Dettenheim.
