Lovely spot but in summer months a lot of kayaks, paddle boarders and families. Much quieter in the early morning or late evening.

Took part in the big Welsh swim. Train from llaberis up the the far end of the lake, then swam back to llanberis. Wind was blowing so it was a challenge. On a good day would be a gorgeous swim.

Really lovely spot great for a quick dip or if you don’t like to walk to/from a spot as parking is very close without spoiling the atmosphere. Entry and exit is tricky due to large rocks no beach or jetty as far as I could tell. Aqua shoes very helpful!

About

Beautiful lake in Snowdonia by the slate mines. Not secluded but various places of the lake that you can swim. Has lagoons. Plenty of parking. The village (Llanberis) is beautiful too and has a free public toilet.
