Explore this spot in Emden. Great location for yachting, kayaking, canoeing and sailing. Emden is a city located in the northwest region of Lower Saxony, Germany. The city is situated at the mouth of the river Ems, approximately 15 km inland from the North Sea. The area around Emden is flat and dominated by agricultural land. The landscape features fields of grain and other crops, along with wind turbines and very few trees. The city itself is compact and has a mix of modern and historical buildings, with a large harbor at its center. The harbor serves as a hub for shipbuilding and cargo transport, and there are several docks and shipyards in the vicinity.
