Argelès-sur-Mer is a town located in the department of Pyrénées-Orientales, in the Occitanie region of southern France. The town is situated on the Mediterranean coast, around 20 km south of Perpignan. The area around Argelès-sur-Mer is known for its stunning natural beauty, with a mix of dramatic mountains, rolling vineyards, and sandy beaches. To the east, the Pyrenees mountain range dominates the landscape, offering breathtaking views and a range of outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing. To the west, the coastline stretches for around 7 km, offering a mix of sandy beaches and rocky coves. The beaches around Argelès-sur-Mer are ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports such as sailing and windsurfing.
