About
Check out this spot in Tarifa. Popular location for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, supping and wind surfing. Tarifa is a small town located in the province of Cádiz, Andalucía, in southern Spain. It is situated on the southernmost coast of the Iberian Peninsula, overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar and the African continent. The area is known for its beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters, perfect for water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. The town itself is charming, with narrow streets and white-walled houses, and a beautiful Moorish castle that overlooks the sea. The scenery around Tarifa is dominated by the Sierra de la Plata mountains, rugged terrain that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The local countryside is dotted with fields of wheat and sunflowers, as well as olive groves and vineyards, creating a beautiful patchwork of colors throughout the region. The area is also rich in wildlife, with dolphins and whales regularly spotted in the waters off the coast, and various migratory bird species passing through on their way to Africa.

- Cold water shock is real. Enter slowly and control your breathing.
- Always swim with others or tell someone your plan
- A tow float makes you visible to boats and other water users
