The never-ending sandy beach stretches as long as 5 km, and the majestic Atlantic Ocean waves are a beautiful year-round sight. The town is surrounded by the Donana National Park, and the pine forests meet the sand dunes, creating a beautiful landscape. The area is characterized by its warm climate, with temperatures soaring up to 30+ degrees Celsius in the summer months. The coastal town is known for its amazing surf beaches, recreational activities and hiking trails in the beautiful Donana National Park. The scenery in Matalascañas is breathtaking, with rolling hills of the protected sand dunes to the beautiful surrounding forest. The region is filled with lush vegetation, with beautiful flora and fauna, which sparkle with life throughout the year. Dolphins and whales can be observed swimming just off shore, and the area is a haven for birdwatchers with the world-renowned National Park nearby.
