Check out this spot in Vigo. Great location for kayaking, canoeing, surfing, supping, body surfing and body boarding. Vigo and Pontevedra are both located in the province of Galicia in northwest Spain. The area around Vigo is known for its rugged coastline, with cliffs, beaches, and small fishing villages dotting the shore. Inland, the landscape is hilly and green, with forests and farmland. Pontevedra is situated along the Ria de Pontevedra, a narrow inlet of the Atlantic Ocean. The scenery in this area is characterized by rolling hills, forests, and vineyards. The city itself has a historic old town with narrow cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and charming squares. Throughout the region, visitors can enjoy traditional Galician cuisine, which often features seafood, potatoes, and locally produced wines. The area is also home to a number of historic landmarks, including ancient castles, churches, and monasteries.
