It is situated on the Atlantic coast, which provides stunning views of the sea and the rugged coastline. The area around Vigo is characterized by lush green hills and forests, as well as vineyards and orchards. The Ría de Vigo is a beautiful estuary that is surrounded by mountains and hills, providing a stunning backdrop to the city. The city of Pontevedra, which is nearby, is known for its historic architecture, including the medieval Santa María la Mayor church and the Gothic-style San Francisco Church. The Galician culture is also very present in this area, with traditional music, dance, and food.
