Explore this spot in Alcúdia. Great location for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, surfing, supping, wind surfing, body surfing, body boarding and kiteboarding. Alcúdia is located in the northern part of the island of Mallorca in Spain. The town is situated on the eastern coast of the island, overlooking the Alcúdia Bay. The area around Alcúdia is known for its spectacular natural scenery, which includes beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, lush green forests, and rugged mountains. The town itself is steeped in history and has several important landmarks, such as the ancient Roman city of Pollentia, which dates back to the 2nd century BC. The town also has a well-preserved medieval wall that encircles the old town, which was built to protect against pirate raids. Outside of the town, there are several beautiful beaches that are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. These beaches include Playa de Muro, Platja des Coll Baix, and Cap Formentor, which offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The countryside around Alcúdia is also incredibly beautiful, with rolling hills covered in olive groves, vineyards, and orange orchards.
