About

Sandy beach and separate pier option. On the N/W coast. Dog friendly. Swim off sandy beach at high tide, directly off the pier at the far end of the bay (SW end) and off the end of the pier or with additional walking on sand to the lowest tide point

Location

Getting there

Parking either end of the bay. Local bus route 31 or 32 or using the round island service 91 & 92

Accessibility

Steps access on Northern end (about 15 steps) and a slipway at the opposite side. Further round the bay heading SW is another small parking area to access the sea from the pier to swim directly off the pier or to walk to the end to the sand and down to the low tide mark for a swim at low tide. Toilets are a 10 minute walk away near Rousse Kiosk at the Northern end.
