In Winter it's possible to swim from the wooden jetty downstream almost to the bridge both with and against current. From end of April weeds and reeds take over. Walk under bridge to small but deep pool where it's possible to swim in circles.

Parking at village hall on Sapiston side of bridge. Two minutes walk to river.
Accessibility
Easy access to river with no steps. Into pool requires stepping down approx 1ft on bank edge of pool.
