River pool of around hundred metres decent swimming. Stony beach, a few fallen trees on the north side. Lovely swimming in & out of warm patches, easy river current to swim in. Beautiful place

Getting there
Road parking in a layby on Strowan Road, less than 10 minute walk across grassy field to river. It’s private property but Scottish Right to Roam makes is accessible as long as there’s no damage to property, crop or farm stock.
Accessibility
Slope from grass down to stony beach. A few bits of old metalwork from old gravel pits downstream but easy to get to the water. About 5m wading into the water to get to swimming depth
