Experience this spot in Outokumpu. Great location for swimming and paddling, boating, water skiing, wake boarding, kayaking, canoeing and supping. Outokumpu is a small town located in Pohjois-Karjala region of eastern Finland, near the city of Joensuu. The area surrounding Outokumpu is characterized by beautiful forests, rolling hills, and numerous lakes and ponds. The landscape is dotted with small farms and traditional wooden houses. The terrain is generally flat, but there are some hills that offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The forests are rich in wildlife, including elk, deer, foxes, and various bird species. The lakes offer excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, and swimming in the summer, and ice fishing and cross-country skiing in the winter. The region is also well-known for its numerous hiking trails, providing visitors with the chance to explore the breathtaking scenery on foot.
