Check out this spot in Bremen. Great location for swimming and paddling, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, walking, supping and wind surfing. Bremen is a city located in the northwest of Germany, in the state of Lower Saxony. The city is situated on the Weser River, which creates a picturesque waterfront area. The cityscape is a mix of modern and historical architecture, with the iconic medieval Schnoor neighborhood boasting narrow, winding streets and timber-framed buildings. Surrounding the city, there are plenty of green spaces, including parks and nature reserves, such as the Werdersee Park and the Blockland Nature Park. The landscape is mainly flat, with fields and farmland stretching out towards the horizon. Just outside the city, there are also numerous small towns and villages to explore, each with their own unique charm and character. Overall, the area around Bremen offers a perfect blend of urban and rural environments, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor and cultural activities.

A tow float for visibility (especially important where boats operate), warm layers for after, and consider a wetsuit in colder months. Check for designated swimming areas.
